Title: Solutions Analyst (Salesforce)

Location: Johannesburg, SA (Hybrid)

Position Type: Contract

A Solution Analyst is responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing IT systems to meet business needs.

They act as a bridge between business users and IT teams, ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with organizational objectives and function efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis & Business Needs Assessment:
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in system functional requirements.
• Identify and document system gaps.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Translate business requirements into functional Salesforce requirements.
• Draft Technical/Functional specifications (FRS, BSS, Use Cases) outlining design and implementation.
• Align functional requirements with out‑of‑the‑box Salesforce configuration utilities such as standard/custom objects, field mappings, workflows, validation rules and automation (Process Builder, Flow).
• Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for product capabilities and solutions.
• Perform gap analysis and document current (as‑is) and future (to‑be) processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in system analysis, design, software development, or system integration.
• Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, App Builder, Platform Developer I, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud are advantageous.
• Experience in financial services (banking, credit, insurance) is beneficial.
