Salesforce Tech Lead

We are seeking a Salesforce Tech Lead / Engineering Manager to lead a Salesforce development team while remaining hands-on with the platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical leadership and development and wants to have a direct impact on the architecture, standards, and long-term direction of a Salesforce environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce development and architecture experience, along with a proven ability to lead and mentor developers. This person will work closely with product owners, business analysts, administrators, and business leadership to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers while remaining actively involved in hands-on development
• Build and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce , and declarative tools
• Own Salesforce architecture and technical design decisions, with a focus on scalability, security, performance, and maintainability
• Establish development standards, best practices, and technical guidelines across the Salesforce environment
• Oversee the full development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Conduct code reviews and provide day-to-day technical guidance to development team members
• Design and support integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications
• Work with REST and SOAP APIs and enterprise integration technologies
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Salesforce Administrators, and business stakeholders to develop technical solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and prioritization
• Manage and support CI/CD processes and Salesforce releases across development, QA, and production environments
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, performance challenges, and production defects
• Help establish and maintain Salesforce security, coding, data governance, and release management standards
• Stay current with Salesforce platform releases, new capabilities, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative configuration
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Previous experience leading or managing Salesforce developers
• Comfortable remaining hands-on with development while providing technical leadership
• Strong experience with Financial Services Cloud
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360
• Experience with MuleSoft and Salesforce integrations
• Strong understanding of development lifecycle, CI/CD, and Salesforce release management
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
