About the role

Men2 Marketing & Distribution Enterprise Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Salesman to join our retail team in Bauang, La Union. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our retail operations, driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. As a Salesman, you will play a crucial role in representing our products and brand values, whilst building lasting relationships with our customers and contributing to the overall success of our retail outlet.

What you'll be doing

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, assessing their needs to provide tailored product recommendations
• Display extensive product knowledge and effectively communicate the features, benefits and value of our merchandise
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Maintain an attractive and well-organised retail environment, ensuring product displays are visually appealing and merchandise is properly stocked
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets whilst maintaining high standards of service quality
• Assist with stock management, including receiving, checking and rotating inventory
• Build and maintain positive relationships with regular customers to encourage repeat business
• Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and productive working environment
• Stay informed about current promotions, pricing and product availability to provide accurate information to customers

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a retail salesman or in a similar customer-facing sales role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
• Excellent numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail technology
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging customer situations
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding sales expectations
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required by the role
• Reliability and a strong work ethic with commitment to punctuality and consistent performance
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as per business requirements
• Enthusiasm for working within the retail and consumer products sector
• Previous experience with inventory management or merchandising is desirable but not essential
