Legacy Builder Supply (LBS) is hiring a Sales & Warehouse Associate for our Sherman, TX (STX) branch. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who's comfortable both helping customers at the counter and moving product in the yard and warehouse.

Role Overview

This position blends inside/outside sales with warehouse and yard work. You'll split your time between assisting customers with orders and product questions, and pulling, loading, and organizing building materials. No two days look the same — one minute you're quoting lumber for a contractor, the next you're forklifting a pallet off a truck.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find products, materials, and supplies
• Write up sales orders, process payments, and handle will-call pickups
• Build quotes for contractors and homeowners, and follow up on open orders
• Pull, stage, and load customer orders accurately and on time
• Receive incoming freight, check it against purchase orders, and stock the warehouse
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided)
• Keep the sales floor and warehouse clean, organized, and safe
• Perform regular cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory
• Support other branch staff and pitch in wherever the team needs a hand

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or a warehouse/yard environment is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and working outdoors in Texas heat and seasonal weather
• Able to stand, bend, and move throughout a shift
• Basic math and computer/POS skills
• Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to get certified on the job)
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license
