Salon Assistant

At Salon Nova, our assistants are a vital part of supporting our stylists and providing our guests with outstanding service at all times. We are looking to fill this position with an individual who has their Cosmetology license or is close to completing Cosmetology school. Salon assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general customer service, shampooing, blow drying, applying chemicals to guests under stylist supervision, light cleaning, as well as preparing for clients in the beginning of each day. You also need to be extremely well organized and be physically presentable with hair and make up complete every day. Generally, our assistants are responsible for helping to build the business and collaborate with our stylists. Training will be provided as well as ongoing education.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including: days, nights, and some weekend days are expected. Prior salon experience is a plus but not required.
