Salon Assistant

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities & Duties)

• Guest Services: Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service.
• Styling Support: Shampoo hair, blow-dry, and assist senior stylists.
• Technical Tasks: Mix color and apply toners (based on experience/licensing).
• Salon Care: Unpack orders, manage laundry, and handle general cleaning to maintain a pristine space.
• Professional Growth: Attend mandatory educational classes to continuously sharpen your skills.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• Licensing: Must possess a valid NJ cosmetology license, permit, or be currently enrolled in an accredited cosmetology school.
• Mindset: A strong willingness to learn, assist with various salon tasks, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of hair styling/cosmetology and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Passion: A genuine interest in growing and advancing within the beauty industry.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 40.0 per week
