Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to

-Assist salon stylists as needed

• Shampoo and condition clients' hair

• Prepare clients for services by draping them with towels and capes

• Maintain a clean and organized salon environment

• Greet and check-in clients, escort them to their designated area

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction

• Assist with inventory management and restocking salon supplies

• Ability to perform light administrative duties such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments is a must

-Comfortable with key-holding, locking up and opening the building at the beginning and end of shift

• Follow salon policies and procedures for sanitization and safety protocols

• Think ahead and be proactive

Experience

• Previous experience in a salon or beauty industry preferred

• Familiarity with salon software systems and appointment scheduling is a plus

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients

• Basic understanding of retail salon products

• Cosmetology license or currently enrolled in a cosmetology program is required

-Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from salon stylists

We are looking for Tuesdays / Wed / Fridays mornings to late afternoon. ( scheduled days are determined by need as in hours can be less if the need for help isn’t there)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
