Duties

• Greet clients warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in.
• Assist stylists with preparing workstations, tools, and products for various hair services including coloring, styling, extensions, and hair threading.
• Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as Gloss Genius or similar platforms to optimize client flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all areas of the salon, including sterilizing tools like straight razors and implementing proper hygiene procedures.
• Assist with client communication to confirm appointments, gather feedback, and ensure a personalized experience.
• Help with inventory management of hair color supplies, hair extensions, nail care products, and other salon essentials.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive environment focused on mentoring new staff and sharing best practices in hair styling, barbering, and customer service.

Experience

• Previous experience working in the beauty industry or a customer-facing role is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with salon software systems such as Gloss Genius or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of hair care techniques including coloring, styling, hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup application is desirable.
• Understanding of sanitation protocols for tools like straight razors and barbering equipment is essential.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Basic retail math skills to assist with upselling products confidently.
• Experience in store management or mentoring junior staff is a plus but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
