Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming in the Feather Sound community of Clearwater is looking for a reliable, mature, positive and detail-oriented Salon Coordinator / Client Care Coordinator to become an important part of our grooming team.

This is more than a traditional receptionist position. Our Salon Coordinator helps manage the flow of the salon, communicates with pet parents, coordinates a detailed grooming schedule, supports our professional groomers, and helps ensure every client receives an exceptional experience.

We are looking for someone who can think independently, problem-solve, prioritize and stay organized in a busy environment while remaining friendly and professional.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome pet parents and assist with pet check-in and check-out
• Coordinate appointments for multiple groomers and services
• Answer phones, respond to client inquiries and assist with scheduling
• Review client and pet notes carefully before scheduling or making appointment changes
• Help clients navigate online booking and appointment options
• Process payments and retail purchases
• Communicate effectively between pet parents and the grooming team
• Assist with client follow-up and customer service
• Maintain an organized, welcoming front desk and retail environment
• Help support customer retention, reviews and occasional marketing initiatives
• Anticipate problems and help keep the salon running smoothly

Who We’re Looking For

• Can learn and manage a complex appointment schedule

• Is comfortable learning computer-based scheduling and client-management systems
• Maintains a calm, positive and professional demeanor
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Is comfortable around dogs of different breeds and sizes
• Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
• Is at least 18 years old

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, veterinary reception, medical/dental scheduling, salon/spa scheduling, office administration or another appointment-based business is highly desirable.

Professional grooming experience is NOT required. We can teach you the grooming terminology and salon procedures. We are more interested in finding someone with the right judgment, reliability, communication skills and attitude.

Schedule

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 15–25 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours.

We are particularly interested in candidates who value a predictable part-time schedule and are looking for a position where they can become a trusted, long-term member of a small professional team.

Weekend availability may be required.
