Salon Front Desk

Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time energetic and detail-oriented Salon Front Desk Associate to help our salon coordinator with our every day tasks. We are a high volume upscale salon and barbershop in the center of Bergen County.

Duties

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out services.
• Answer phone calls, professionally, and directing calls as needed.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments using salon management software.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
• Assist with inventory tracking for salon supplies and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
• Help with social media and providing content for us to post.

Skills

• General computer literacy.
• Excellent phone etiquette, including experience answering phone calls and reception duties.
• Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service expertise with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Previous personal assistant or front desk experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
