Salon Manager

About the role

The Salon Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations, sales performance, customer experience, staff management, and profitability of the salon. The position ensures that salon services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and consistently while maintaining high standards of customer service and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon
• Ensure the salon is clean, organized, safe, and properly maintained
• Monitor the availability of salon supplies, products, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards
• Supervise, motivate, and manage salon staff, including stylists, receptionists, and other personnel
• Prepare and monitor staff schedules and attendance
• Monitor daily sales and salon performance against targets
• Develop strategies to increase sales, customer retention, and repeat business
• Ensure excellent customer service and a positive salon experience
• Handle customer concerns, complaints, and service recovery professionally

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2–3 years of experience in salon, beauty, retail, hospitality, or similar operations management
• Experience in supervising and managing a team
• Strong knowledge of salon operations, customer service, and sales
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Results-oriented with strong sales and business sense
• Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
