Salon Manager | Agnes O Salon & Derma Spa | Chicago, IL

Agnes O Salon & Derma Spa is a high-end salon in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood with loyal clients and a skilled team. We’ve been nominated among the Top 10 salons in Chicago and the Top 16 in the U.S., and we work with Kerastase, Milbon, and Maria Nila. We’re looking for an experienced Salon Manager who can run the floor, lead the team, and uphold our reputation. Previous salon experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily salon operations, including staff scheduling and floor coverage
• Lead, support, and coach a team of stylists and support staff
• Assist staff with day-to-day tasks and business needs
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally
• Manage payroll, budgets, and financial reporting
• Order and track inventory to ensure products and supplies are always stocked
• Build and maintain relationships with brand partners and vendors
• Run and maintain the salon’s social media presence
• Maintain current licenses, certifications, and contractor agreements
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally

Who We’re Looking For

• Salon industry experience is required, preferably in a high-end salon
• Experience managing social media for a business
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay composed during busy periods
• Strong people skills and the ability to work well with different personalities
• Organized, dependable, and accountable for the results of their work

Schedule and Physical Requirements

• Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday
• Ability to be on your feet for multiple hours each day

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
