Your role

- Work closely with the owner on recruitment, onboarding, staff development and regular performance reviews
- Give constructive feedback, recognise good work and address concerns fairly and promptly

- Oversee opening and closing procedures, payments and end-of-day checks
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safe working practices and equipment care
- Monitor stock, arrange orders within agreed budgets and minimise unnecessary waste
- Keep client records and salon administration accurate and up to date
- Monitor bookings, rebooking, retail sales and salon performance, taking practical steps to meet agreed targets
- Keep the owner informed of staffing matters, maintenance needs and any issues requiring attention
Nail treatments and client care
- Deliver high-quality manicures, BIAB, structured overlays, extensions, infills and pedicures within your qualifications and skill set
- Demonstrate thorough preparation, clean cuticle work and consistent shaping and finishing
- Carry out consultations and provide clear aftercare advice
- Recommend suitable treatments and homecare products based on each client’s needs
- Maintain your own treatment standards while balancing appointments with management responsibilities
- Support the team with practical guidance and training to keep standards consistent across the salon
We’re looking for someone who has
- Relevant nail qualifications and a strong portfolio of consistently high-quality work
- Experience working as a confident, established Nail Technician
- Previous salon management experience, or substantial senior experience with responsibility for leading a team
- Strong organisation and the ability to balance client appointments with running the salon
- A supportive, approachable leadership style and confidence having constructive conversations
- Experience handling client concerns calmly and professionally
- An understanding of rotas, stock control, booking systems and salon performance
- A reliable, proactive approach and a commitment to building a positive team environment
