Salon Receptionist

Overview

As a Salon Receptionist, you’ll create a welcoming first impression and keep the front desk running smoothly. You’ll greet clients, coordinate appointments, answer calls, and support the salon team with organized administrative work. Your impact: Clear communication and well-managed bookings help clients feel welcomed and stylists stay focused on their appointments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients, provide customer service, and respond to questions with a professional, helpful approach
• Manage calendars and appointments, communicate schedule updates, and support client follow-up
• Answer and route calls using multi-line phone systems; demonstrate strong phone etiquette and phone reception skills
• Handle clerical tasks such as filing, typing, proofreading, and word processing
• Support office management and daily front desk operations using computer systems and Microsoft Office

Requirements

• Customer service, customer support, and client communication skills
• Computer literacy, computer skills, organizational skills, and time management
• Office, clerical, or administrative experience; personal assistant experience is helpful
• Experience with phone answering, calendar management, filing, and word processing is preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $27.64 per hour
