Sample Engineer (PCB / NPI)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate PCB prototype, engineering sample, and NPI builds from order release through shipment.
• Review customer requirements, fabrication drawings, Gerber files, ODB++, stack-up, and engineering specifications to ensure manufacturability.
• Monitor sample production status and provide technical support to resolve manufacturing issues during the build process.
• Analyze process abnormalities, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain accurate engineering records and ensure technical documentation is properly controlled.
• Coordinate with related departments to ensure sample builds meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Science, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of relevant engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and engineering data preparation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, Gerber files, ODB++, stack-up, and fabrication specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with MES, ERP, or CAM software is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
