Job Overview Do you have National 5s & Highers or GCSE's & A Levels in Science? Are you looking for your first lab based role? Have you got a passion for changing lives? We are seeking a Sample Management Technician for our Safety Assessment Group located in Elphinstone, Tranent. THIS ROLE DOES NOT REQUIRE A DEGREE. GRADUATES NEED NOT APPLY IN THIS INSTANCE.

The Following Are Responsibilities Related To The Position

• Barcode labelling of samples received from Clinical studies
• Using LIMS system to track samples received from Clinical studies
• Sample discrepancy management
• Assist in the conduct of technical laboratory activities in support of client studies or procedures.
• Follow written instructions (SOPs, protocols) and document details of steps carried out to ensure compliance through recreation of events
• Record data in compliance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
• Quality control checking and other administrative tasks as required.

Salary for this role is £26,113.14 per annum.
