SampleManager Tech Lead

UST is looking for an experienced Technical Lead - SampleManager LIMS with strong expertise in SampleManager LIMS implementation, customization, integration, and support. The ideal candidate will lead technical delivery teams, collaborate with business stakeholders and clients, design scalable laboratory informatics solutions, and ensure successful project delivery while maintaining quality standards and timelines.

The Opportunity:

As a Technical Lead - SampleManager LIMS , you will play a key role in leading SampleManager LIMS implementation, enhancement, and support engagements. You will work closely with clients, business users, and technical teams to deliver robust and compliant laboratory informatics solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead technical teams in SampleManager LIMS implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
• Engage with clients to understand business requirements and recommend optimal technical solutions.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and prepare requirement specification documents.
• Design, develop, configure, customize, and implement SampleManager LIMS solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery while adhering to organizational standards, quality processes, and SOPs.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams.
• Participate in solution design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Manage the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, business users, and technical teams.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective resolutions.

What you need:

• Minimum 10 + years of experience in SampleManager LIMS implementation, development, and support.
• Strong hands-on experience in SampleManager LIMS configuration and customization.
• Experience in systems analysis, solution design, application development, testing, and integration methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in client requirement gathering, business analysis, and technical documentation.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex application issues.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant SampleManager LIMS experience.
• Experience leading technical implementation and support teams.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and informatics solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
