Sampling Operative

Tuiss Blinds Online is looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Sampling Operative to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys keeping things organised, takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive accurate, high‑quality fabric samples that help them choose the perfect blinds for their home.

About the role

As a Sampling Operative, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Picking daily fabric sample orders accurately and efficiently
• Keeping fabric samples organised, separated and in excellent condition
• Monitoring sample quality and reporting any issues
• Managing stock control and conducting regular inventory checks
• Ordering stock and ensuring adequate supplies are maintained
• Labelling, sealing and packing sample orders
• Preparing and packing new stock
• Folding sample envelopes and preparing orders for dispatch
• Responding to customer enquiries via email
• Liaising with Australia Post and arranging the dispatch of goods

About you

We’re looking for someone who is positive, organised and genuinely enjoys getting things done.

You will ideally have:

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• A motivated, positive and "can-do" attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong initiative and practical problem-solving skills
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• A friendly, bubbly and professional demeanour
• The ability to consistently follow workplace policies and procedures

Previous experience in warehousing, pick-packing, administration, customer service or a similar environment will be highly regarded, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
