Duties

• Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sandblasting and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Execute painting tasks using various techniques including brush, roller, spray (airless and conventional), and power tools to achieve smooth, even finishes.
• Interpret technical PDS, and schematics to accurately execute Sandblasting, Coating and painting projects aligned with design specifications.
• Apply coatings on steel surfaces; such as Separators, Tanks, Pipe, Structure Steel and steel equipment.
• Utilize safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all phases of construction painting and spray painting.
• Collaborate with welding, and remodeling teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution of construction or renovation projects.

Experience

• Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, industrial painting, and the use of paint sprayers (airless and conventional).
• Familiarity with surface preparation processes such as sanding, caulking, priming, and coating application on different materials like steel.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting environments along with proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols.
• Skills in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding (ladder use), and fixture installation for comprehensive project completion.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
• Experience in specialized areas such industrial coating applications.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
