We are currently searching for an exceptional Sanderto join our team in Corona, CA. The Sander for Intersand will work exclusively in the sanding pre/post paint production process. The Sander will be responsible for the sanding and semi-finishing of electric guitar bodies. Sanding will be done in an up/down motion and counterclockwise motion; more specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for manually sanding guitars, quality control of production, make very minor corrections to irregularities and cleanup of immediate work area.

Essential Functions:

• Sanding skills, woodworking and finishing skills
• Follow instructions as directed by Supervisor
• Ensures own production conforms to requirements of quality and schedule
• Inspects input/output quality requirements on all units processed
• Follows approved procedures to complete all assigned tasks
• Maintains work area in a clean, repaired, and organized manner
• Handles and stores all regulated materials in compliance with company policy, state and federal regulations and in accordance to the material safety data sheets
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Preferred 6 months – 1-year manufacturing experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Communicates and works well with others
• Good hand dexterity
• Read and interpret work instructions
• Basic knowledge of the correct use of hand power tools
• Guitar or musical background preferred but not required
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures, rules, and regulations at all times, and to wear personal protective equipment while on the factory floor, including, without limitation: safety glasses.

Subject to the foregoing, the current pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.
