Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick service and satisfaction
• Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food handling areas and kitchen equipment
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, toasters, and refrigeration units
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and storage practices at all times
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures in a food industry setting
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic understanding of retail sales transactions and upselling techniques
• Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
