Sandwich Artist

Duties

• Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to company recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to take orders and provide product recommendations through upselling techniques
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards
• Manage food inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with food handling procedures to ensure freshness and quality
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant operations during busy hours
• Follow all sanitation policies, safety procedures, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafés, or grocery stores is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Customer service experience that demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively and upsell products confidently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in fast-paced environments such as retail or the food industry is highly desirable
