Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Restock ingredients and supplies promptly to keep the service area organized and fully stocked
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment is beneficial
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
