Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Sandwich Artist and Shift Leader, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service experiences. This energetic position combines hands-on food preparation with leadership responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and outstanding customer satisfaction. As a key team member, you will create delicious sandwiches, manage customer orders efficiently, and lead by example to foster a positive, clean, and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
• Operate POS system for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout each shift.
• Oversee cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
• Lead shift activities by supervising team members, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely service during busy hours.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicing machines, ovens, refrigerators, and other food prep tools.
• Ensure compliance with food safety management practices, sanitation regulations, and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, training new staff, and upholding company policies.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Proven ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills to engage positively with guests.
• Experience in operating kitchen equipment safely and adhering to sanitation standards is desirable.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
