Sandwich Line Cook & Prep

Pay: $17 to $19 per hour + Additional Pooled Tips

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sandwich Line Cook & Prep team member to support daily café operations. This role is responsible for morning pastry preparation, sandwich assembly, ingredient prep, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake pastries in the morning according to recipes and quality standards
• Prep ingredients for sandwiches (wash & chop produce, prepare spreads)
• Assemble sandwiches and light menu items to order
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Stock and organize prep stations throughout the shift
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Support overall kitchen cleanliness and closing duties

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred
• Ability to work early mornings
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Food safety knowledge a plus

Schedule: Morning and daytime shifts; weekends required.
