Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sandwich Maker & Prep to join our dynamic food service team! In this role, you will be the cornerstone of creating delicious sandwiches and preparing fresh ingredients to ensure every customer receives high-quality, tasty meals. Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items efficiently and accurately according to established recipes and standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, toasters, and food processors safely and effectively
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly
• Manage food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met
• Process customer orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and processing transactions
• Assist in inventory management by restocking ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials as needed
• Support the team during busy hours by upselling menu items to enhance sales and improve customer experience

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, fast food or quick service restaurant environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and cash register operations
• Strong understanding of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly while maintaining a clean workspace
• Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills for engaging with guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory counting
• Previous retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
