Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to established recipes and standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, food prep stations
• Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS, process cash transactions, and handle cash register operations
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with menu selections, upselling additional items, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation guidelines, regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to fulfill orders promptly while maintaining quality standards

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous
• Strong understanding of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing sales accurately
