Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, grills, and slicing tools
• Manage food handling and sanitation practices to ensure a clean and safe workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
• Process customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and transaction processing
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including countertops, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food levels during service hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments with a focus on fast-paced food service operations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and cash register operations
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and order totaling
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining a clean workspace

Pay: $18.45 - $22.00 per hour
