SANITATION AND PEST CONTROL HEAD

About the role

ELJIN CORPORATION is seeking a Sanitation and Pest Control Head to join our team in Tarlac City, Tarlac. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and pest management across our manufacturing and logistics facilities. As the head of this function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sanitation and pest control strategies that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, protect our assets, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees. This role is strategically important to our operations, directly contributing to the safety, health, and efficiency of our manufacturing and logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee comprehensive sanitation and pest control programmes across all facility areas
• Create and maintain detailed sanitation schedules, protocols and standard operating procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards
• Monitor and analyze sanitation and pest control data, identifying trends and areas for improvement through detailed reporting and analysis
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to assess cleanliness standards and pest control effectiveness, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Coordinate with external pest control contractors and service providers, ensuring quality service delivery and regulatory compliance
• Manage sanitation and pest control budgets, including procurement of supplies, equipment and services
• Train and supervise sanitation and pest control staff, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards
• Maintain detailed records and prepare regular reports on sanitation and pest control activities, incidents and compliance status
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and respond to inspections, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sanitation efficiency and reduce pest control incidents

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sanitation and pest control management within manufacturing, logistics or similar industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of pest control methods, food safety standards and hygiene regulations applicable to manufacturing and logistics operations
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to track metrics and identify trends
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong supervisory and team leadership capabilities, with experience training and motivating staff
• Proficiency in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and compliance documentation
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and environmental compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
• Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving sanitation and pest control challenges
• Relevant certifications in pest control management or sanitation standards are highly desirable
