Sanitation Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Sanitation Manager to lead a sanitation team in a food processing environment in Sussex County Delaware.

This is a full-time leadership opportunity for a hands-on sanitation professional who understands manufacturing environments and knows how to build, motivate, and develop a strong team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, supervise, and motivate sanitation team members.
• Provide training and development to improve team performance and growth.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, GMP, sanitation, and company policies.
• Communicate performance expectations and recognize team accomplishments.
• Address performance concerns and enforce company policies consistently.
• Build positive relationships with employees while promoting strong attendance, work ethic, and teamwork.
• Help ensure the facility is clean and ready for production to begin as scheduled.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment , preferably meat processing.
• Prior sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• English reading and writing skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
• Proficient computer and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high standards.
