Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of sanitation staff engaged in industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, and custodial duties.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are maintained according to safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to verify cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and address any issues promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective management, clear communication, and leadership that motivates staff to perform at their best.

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience in custodial services or industrial cleaning environments.
• Extensive custodial or janitorial experience with a strong understanding of sanitation practices across commercial or industrial settings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety protocols.
• Experience in managing cleaning & sanitation management programs within hospitality, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent managerial communication abilities to coordinate teams and liaise with management.
• Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish
