Turn your mechanical aptitude into a rewarding career with a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical apprenticeship.

As a full-time apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment critical to Santos' operations. Upon completion, you'll have the skills and knowledge to become a specialist in general operational maintenance.

The position

Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade Apprenticeship (4 years)

Located in South Australia, positions will be fly-in fly-out opportunities from Adelaide across our operations in the Cooper Basin.

An exciting opportunity for school leavers and mature aged candidates to develop a vibrant and rewarding career in the energy industry.

To be successful, you will be

• A resident of South Australia
• Demonstrated interest in your chosen trade through work experience, hobbies or interests
• Completion of secondary schooling to a Year 11 level (minimum) or completion of relevant pre-vocational qualifications
• Highly committed to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedures
• Motivated to achieve personal work goals and objectives
• A team player with a willingness to actively contribute to achieving results
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a drivers licence, prior to commencing your Apprenticeship in February 2027
