We are recruiting for this position on behalf of our client, a leader in robotics and intelligent optical systems.

About the Role

Hands-on IT role supporting Roboptic's SAP environment at the new Hutto site. Develops ABAP programs and SAP reports that support manufacturing, supply chain, and finance. Works closely with local users and the Taiwan headquarters IT team

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs: reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW)
• Build and maintain SAP reports (ALV, custom reports, queries) for production, inventory, purchasing, and finance
• Translate business requirements from key users into technical specifications and solutions
• Support data migration, user exits / BAdIs, and interfaces (IDoc, RFC, BAPI) with MES and other plant systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP issues; provide day-to-day user support.
• Partner with Taiwan HQ IT and external SAP consultants on rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements. Maintain technical documentation and follow change management and transport procedures

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in an SAP environment (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Strong ABAP development skills, including reports, ALV, SmartForms / Adobe Forms, and enhancements.
• Experience building SAP reports for business users. Working knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, or FICO and their data structures.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work with business and technical teams. Willing to work fully onsite in Hutto, TX

Preferred

• Mandarin fluency highly preferred for daily coordination with Taiwan HQ.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics or hardware a plus)
• S/4HANA experience, including CDS views, OData, or Fiori
• Experience supporting a new SAP implementation or site rollout
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
