SAP ABAP Developer – BRIM SOM

We are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer with experience in SAP BRIM – Subscription Order Management (SOM) and SAP HANA. The role will focus on developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and supporting SAP solutions for subscription-based business processes.

You will work closely with business, functional, and technical teams to translate requirements into reliable SAP solutions while contributing to process improvements and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support SAP applications using ABAP on HANA.
• Perform ABAP development and enhancements within SAP BRIM SOM.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical and functional issues across BRIM and core SAP systems.
• Support subscription order lifecycle processes, including order creation, changes, and integrations.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and ABAP solutions.
• Develop efficient, maintainable, and performance-optimized ABAP code.
• Work with SAP HANA concepts, CDS Views, Open SQL, and performance tuning.
• Support integrations between BRIM SOM, Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA, CI, and downstream systems.
• Participate in solution design, technical discussions, and problem-solving activities.
• Document technical solutions, processes, and best practices.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvement.
• Provide production support and participate in rotational shift coverage as required.

Required Skills

• SAP ABAP Development on HANA

• Hands-on experience with SOM-ABAP development and enhancements

• SAP BRIM troubleshooting and support
• Understanding of BRIM integrations with CI, FI-CA, and Convergent Invoicing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience & Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP Development, preferably with SAP HANA and BRIM SOM.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BRIM SOM-ABAP is highly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of full-time education.
• Willingness to work on rotational shifts and provide project support coverage.
• Candidates with strong BRIM SOM expertise are preferred.

Work Details

• Work Setup: Hybrid
• Project Location: Uptown 2
• RTO: Daily onsite during the first 3 months; thereafter, 2 days per week
• Standard RTO: Tuesday + 1 additional day per week
• Shift: Rotational / Shifting
• Work Hours: 45 hours per week
• Employment Type: Full-time

Important Note

This position is specifically looking for candidates with SAP BRIM expertise, particularly SOM-ABAP. Strong SAP ABAP skills without relevant BRIM SOM experience may not be sufficient for the role.
