About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development to join our SAP team in Kolkata.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP/ABAP OO, RICEF developments, Enhancements, Interfaces, Forms, Reports, and SAP integrations. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and HANA-based development will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP OO.
• Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF) and custom SAP solutions.
• Work on ALV Reports, Classical Reports, Interactive Reports, and OO ALV.
• Develop and maintain SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Work with BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, Function Modules, and Web Services.
• Implement User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
• Handle Module Pool and Dialog Programming.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing ABAP programs.
• Collaborate with functional consultants across MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, HR, and other SAP modules.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, bug fixing, and technical issue resolution.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
• Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and test cases.
• Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
• Strong knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO
• Strong experience in RICEF Objects
• Expertise in Reports Classical, Interactive, ALV, and OO ALV
• Strong knowledge of Data Dictionary (DDIC) Tables, Structures, Views, Domains, Data Elements, Search Helps, and Indexes
• Experience with Enhancements, User Exits, Customer Exits, and BADIs
• Hands-on experience with BAPI, RFC, IDOC, and Function Modules
• Experience in SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms
• Knowledge of Module Pool / Dialog Programming
• Good understanding of SAP integration and technical interfaces
• Experience in production support, debugging, and performance tuning
• Good understanding of SAP development lifecycle and transport management

Good to Have

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of SAP HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP
• Experience with OData and SAP Fiori integration
• Exposure to S/4HANA migration or implementation projects
• Knowledge of SAP Workflow
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• SAP ABAP certification will be an added advantage
