This role combines deep HR-ABAP expertise with modern integration architecture, where you'll build connections between SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, and third-party systems while maintaining high code quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• HR-ABAP Development: Build reports on logical databases (PNP/PNPCE), infotype enhancements, BAdIs, enhancements, payroll functions and operations
• Integration Design: Design and build integrations with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) - iFlows, Groovy scripts, mapping, error handling, monitoring
• SuccessFactors Connectivity: Connect SuccessFactors via OData API (v2/v4) and Compound Employee API; use Integration Center and Intelligent Services
• Third-Party Integrations: Build connections with time recording, identity management, benefits providers, banks, and travel expense systems
• BTP Extensions: Develop extensions on SAP BTP (CAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, SAP Build) and MDF
• Hybrid Scenarios: Support core-hybrid scenarios (EC to SAP HCM/ECP replication, BIB, org management integration)
• Forms & Services: Build HR Forms/Adobe Forms (e.g., payslip) and OData services (SAP Gateway)
• Quality Assurance: Write technical specifications, conduct code reviews, optimize performance
• System Support: Perform error analysis in AMS and further develop existing client systems

Candidate requirements

• Development Experience: 4+ years development experience in SAP HCM with ABAP and ABAP OO
• HR-Specific Expertise: Confident with infotype framework, macros, payroll clusters, HR authorization checks
• Integration Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite/CPI and SuccessFactors OData API
• Data Model Knowledge: Understanding of Employee Central and SAP HCM (PA/OM) data models
• Language Requirements: Business-fluent German, good English

Desirable (but not required)

• SAP BTP experience (CAP, Node.js or Java, SAPUI5)
• ECP and payroll integration knowledge
• SAP Cloud Connector, destinations, and authentication (OAuth 2.0, SAML, X.509)
• SuccessFactors Business Rules and MDF
• Git, CI/CD, ABAP Unit experience
• SAP certification (Integration Suite, BTP Developer)
