SAP ABAP Developer – SAP GTS

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) experience to join our SAP team in Sweden. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on ABAP development skills along with practical experience supporting and developing solutions within SAP GTS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, maintain and troubleshoot SAP ABAP applications.
• Work on SAP GTS-related developments, enhancements and integrations.
• Develop and support RICEF objects – Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows.
• Work with SAP GTS Compliance, Customs and Trade Preference processes.
• Perform ABAP debugging and root-cause analysis of GTS issues.
• Develop and troubleshoot IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, user exits, BAdIs and enhancement frameworks .
• Work closely with SAP GTS functional consultants and business stakeholders.
• Support integration between SAP ECC/S/4HANA feeder systems and SAP GTS .
• Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing and defect resolution.
• Support production issues and participate in incident/problem management.
• Follow SAP development standards and clean-core principles where applicable.

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP GTS .
• Experience with SAP GTS Compliance Management, Customs Management and/or Trade Preference Management .
• Strong ABAP debugging skills.
• Experience with IDocs and SAP integration .
• Experience with BAPIs, RFCs, enhancements, user exits and BAdIs.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA .
• Good understanding of SAP technical architecture and integration.
• Experience preparing technical specifications and development documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.
