Job Summary

Spark Techwave InnovationZ Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Programmer to develop, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot SAP applications.

The candidate will be responsible for writing ABAP programs, developing reports and forms, working with SAP data structures, implementing enhancements, debugging programs, and supporting SAP technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming.
• Write efficient and reusable ABAP programs based on technical requirements.
• Develop classical, interactive, and ALV reports.
• Work with ABAP Dictionary (DDIC) objects including tables, structures, data elements, domains, and views.
• Develop and maintain function modules, subroutines, and methods.
• Implement user exits, customer exits, BAdIs, and enhancement spots.
• Develop and maintain Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms.
• Work with internal tables, work areas, field symbols, and database operations.
• Write and optimize Open SQL queries.
• Debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs using SAP debugging tools.
• Analyze program performance and optimize inefficient code.
• Work with SAP tables and understand relationships between business objects.
• Develop interfaces using BAPI, RFC, IDoc, and other SAP integration technologies.
• Perform unit testing and resolve defects.
• Prepare technical documentation for developed programs and enhancements.
• Coordinate with functional consultants to understand technical requirements.
• Provide technical support for SAP applications and production issues.
• Follow SAP coding standards and development best practices.

Required Skills

• 1–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming.

• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming concepts.

• Experience with Smart Forms / SAPscript / Adobe Forms.

• Basic knowledge of BAPI, RFC, and IDoc.

• Understanding of performance optimization techniques.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP (OOP ABAP).
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of CDS Views.
• Knowledge of AMDP.
• Experience with OData services.
• Basic knowledge of SAP Fiori / SAPUI5.
• Knowledge of RAP.
• Experience with Eclipse / ABAP Development Tools.
• Knowledge of SAP integration concepts.
• Experience with SAP data migration or conversion programs.
• SAP ABAP certification is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong programming and logical problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience developing ABAP programs.
• Good understanding of SAP technical concepts.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and convert them into ABAP programs.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to work with functional consultants and technical teams.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
