Sap Advanced Business Application Programming Developer

Are you ready to accept the challenge to innovate retail as we know it? We are looking for a new colleague who will join us to build a modern new business model, as SAP ABAP Developer .

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain custom solutions within the SAP environment (using ABAP, ABAP OO, Core Data Services - CDS views).
• Design and implement integration interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems (using IDocs, RFC/BAPI, REST/SOAP Web Services, OData).
• Develop reports, forms (Adobe Forms, SmartForms), and system enhancements (Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits) based on business requirements.
• Actively participate in specific technical projects (e.g., adapting/extending modules for SAF-T, e-Factura) and ensure compliance with ANAF requirements.
• Analyze and debug existing code, and identify and resolve Level 2/3 incidents (Layer 2/3 support).
• Optimize ABAP application performance and conduct unit and integration testing for newly developed functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants (FI/CO, MM, SD) and business teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and high-quality deliverables.
• Write technical documentation for developments and provide support during the implementation of new versions/releases.

Requirements:

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Mid-to-senior level experience in SAP ABAP / ABAP OO development (experience with S/4HANA platforms is a major advantage).
• Solid knowledge of integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, OData services / Web Services).
• Practical experience or involvement in projects focused on technical integrations for tax reporting (SAF-T / RO e-Factura / e-Transport).
• Knowledge of SAP enhancement concepts (BAdIs, Enhancements, User Exits) and performance optimization tools (SQL Trace, ABAP Profiler).
• Basic understanding of SAP functional modules and processes (FI/CO, MM, SD) to ensure effective collaboration with functional consultants.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong technical communication skills.
• Experience in the Retail industry is considered a valuable plus.
