Sap Analytics Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Stories, Dashboards, and Analytical Applications.
• Create interactive reports and visualizations based on business requirements.
• Work with SAC Models, Dimensions, Measures, Calculated Measures, and Calculated Dimensions.
• Develop and maintain planning models and planning applications in SAC.
• Implement filters, input controls, linked analysis, drill-downs, and navigation.
• Work with SAP BW/BW4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and other data sources.
• Perform data acquisition and create/import connections in SAC.
• Develop calculated fields, restricted measures, and custom calculations.
• Work with Data Actions, Multi Actions, and Planning Functions.
• Implement basic SAC scripting using JavaScript/TypeScript concepts where required.
• Troubleshoot dashboard, data, performance, and connectivity issues.
• Understand and implement SAC security, roles, teams, and access controls.
• Work closely with business users, functional teams, and data engineers to understand reporting requirements.
• Perform testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment of SAC content.
• Optimize dashboards and stories for better performance and usability.

Required Skills

• 23 years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Good understanding of SAC Stories and Dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of SAC Modeling.
• Knowledge of dimensions, measures, calculated measures, hierarchies, filters, and input controls.
• Good understanding of SAP BW/BW4HANA or SAP HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SAC Planning.
• Understanding of Data Actions and Multi Actions.
• Basic knowledge of SAC scripting.
• Good understanding of data visualization and dashboard design.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
