SAP Application Support Specialist

About the Job:

The SAP Application Support Specialist should provide for business operations, ensuring stable and reliable system performance across all operational functions. Act as the key liaison between business users and SAP functional and technical teams, analyzing requirements, resolving system issues, and delivering effective solutions that support business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP applications and resolve system issues reported by end users.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across SAP modules such as MM, PP, QM, EWM, PM, SD, and FI/CO.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into SAP system solutions.
• Support SAP deployments, testing activities, system upgrades, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Coordinate with functional consultants, developers, and external vendors to resolve application issues.
• Support SAP enhancements, custom developments, integrations, and automation initiatives.
• Assist with ABAP analysis, debugging, testing, and technical issue resolution.
• Prepare system reports and support users with reporting and data analysis requirements.
• Develop user documentation, provide training, and deliver ongoing end-user support.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and audit requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in SAP application support within a live business environment.
• Experience supporting one or more SAP modules such as MM, PP, QM, EWM, PM, SD, or FI/CO.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and application support methodologies.
• Experience supporting SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or enhancement projects.
• SAP ABAP knowledge and debugging experience are preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
