Role & responsibilities

Job Summary: Responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Variant Configuration solutions to support product customization, pricing, and order management processes. Works closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable configuration models.

Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement **variant configuration models** (product structures, characteristics, dependencies, rules). - Analyze business requirements and translate them into **VC functional/technical specifications**. - Configure and maintain **product models, class structures, and constraint logic**. - Integrate VC with **sales, pricing, manufacturing, and ERP processes** (e.g., SAP VC/AVC). - Perform **testing, troubleshooting, and optimization** of configuration scenarios. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, IT) to ensure accurate implementation. - Provide **user training, documentation, and post-go-live support**.

Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of **Variant Configuration concepts** (LO-VC/AVC or similar tools). - Experience with **product modeling, dependencies, and constraint-based logic**. - Understanding of **ERP systems (preferably SAP)** and integration points. - Analytical and problem-solving skills. ### **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in **manufacturing or product-based industries**. - Knowledge of **pricing and configurator integrations** (CPQ tools is a plus).
