About the Role

This is an accounting-focused role for a service-based company that runs its finance operations on SAP Business One. You will own day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, and reconciliations, while also acting as the go-to person for basic SAP B1 functional support within the finance team. This is a great fit for someone who wants to build deep, hands-on ERP exposure alongside core accounting work.

What You Will Do

1. Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in SAP B1
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable
3. Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
4. Prepare and file GST returns and carry out GST reconciliations
5. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
6. Prepare financial and MIS reports
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
8. Support internal/management audits and maintain relevant documentation
9. Update item and customer master data in SAP B1 and provide basic functional support to internal teams

What We're Looking For

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (any specialization accepted)
2. Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience (ledger entries, AP/AR, reconciliations)
3. Hands-on experience with SAP Business One is mandatory
4. Hands-on GST return filing and reconciliation experience (not just conceptual knowledge)
5. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
6. Comfortable with a Work From Office model and alternate Saturdays working
