Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Business One Functional Consultant with 8–12 years of experience to lead SAP B1 implementation, configuration, business process mapping, user requirement gathering and functional support. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into SAP B1 solutions, drive implementation projects and ensure effective adoption of the system across functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP Business One implementation and rollout projects.
• Understand business requirements and map existing processes to SAP B1 functionalities.
• Conduct requirement gathering, process analysis and Fit-Gap analysis.
• Configure SAP B1 modules based on business requirements.
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Production, SCM and other business teams.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical/development teams for customisations.
• Define and document business processes, workflows and system requirements.
• Plan and execute SIT, UAT and functional testing, including defect tracking and resolution.
• Support data migration, master-data preparation and validation.
• Conduct user training, prepare user manuals/SOPs and support change management.
• Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues in coordination with technical teams.
• Analyse system/process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance business efficiency.
• Coordinate with implementation partners, internal IT teams and business stakeholders.
• Manage multiple SAP B1 initiatives and ensure timely delivery of implementation milestones.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of overall experience with strong hands-on experience in SAP Business One.
• Proven experience in SAP B1 implementation, configuration and functional consulting.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes, particularly Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Operations.
• Experience in requirement gathering, Fit-Gap analysis, UAT and user training.
• Good understanding of SAP B1 database/process architecture.
• Experience working with SAP B1 implementation partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in manufacturing/automotive/EV industry will be an added advantage.
