Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP CAP + SAP UI5/Fiori Developer with strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), and SAP UI5/Fiori development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-grade SAP applications while collaborating with business stakeholders and distributed development teams.

This role requires a combination of front-end SAP UI5/Fiori expertise and back-end SAP BTP CAP development experience using Node.js and CDS models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP UI5/Fiori applications based on business requirements.
• Build and maintain SAP BTP CAP applications using Node.js and Core Data Services (CDS).
• Develop custom SAP extensions and enhancements on SAP BTP.
• Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Fiori design principles.
• Develop and consume REST APIs and OData services.
• Work closely with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements and digital transformation.
• Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Support deployment and lifecycle management of applications on SAP BTP.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead and coordinate development activities across multiple project teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP application development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori development.
• Experience developing applications using SAP Web IDE / SAP Business Application Studio.
• Strong knowledge of:
• SAP BTP
• CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
• Node.js
• Core Data Services (CDS)
• OData Services
• REST APIs
• Experience with: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XML
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience developing cross-browser compatible applications.
• Familiarity with Portal Applications and Content Management Systems.
• Experience working in Mac OS environments.
• Experience coordinating and leading onshore/offshore development teams.
