Roles and Responsibilities

Design, build, and support integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite across SAP and non-SAP systems, databases, cloud platforms, and manufacturing applications such as MES.

Serve as the technical subject matter expert for SAP BTP Integration Suite, providing guidance to project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on integration architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

Develop and manage CPI integration flows, APIs, connectors, event-driven integrations, and B2B/A2A interfaces to enable secure and reliable data exchange.

Support API-first integration architecture by designing, managing, and governing SAP and non-SAP APIs using SAP BTP API Management.

Ensure integration solutions meet performance, availability, quality, compliance, and information security requirements for mission-critical SAP environments.

Perform testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, error handling, and operational support for integration solutions across non-production and production tenants.

Must Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Connector, Integration Advisor, and Transport Management System.

Proven experience developing enterprise-grade iFlows for synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios using adapters such as IDoc, JDBC, File, SOAP, REST, OData, Graph, and related technologies.

Expertise in Groovy and Java scripting, XML, JSON, WSDL, XSD, XSLT, message mapping, XSLT mapping, and script-based mapping techniques.

Strong understanding of integration patterns such as content-based routing, splitter, scatter-gather, guaranteed delivery, retry mechanisms, idempotent receiver, and exception handling.

Experience with API providers, API products, policies, authorization, authentication, access control, and security configurations for inbound and outbound adapters.

Hands-on knowledge of Event Mesh, including publishing, subscribing, and building event-driven integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA APIs, events, pre-packaged integration content, SAP BTP tools, security artifacts, encryption/decryption, monitoring, logging, and transport mechanisms such as CTS+, TMS, and manual transport.
