SAP Central Finance Consultant

Position: SAP Central Finance Consultant Location: 100% Remote Role Position Type: Contract Visa: USC and GC Only Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Central Finance (CFIN) Consultant with 6+ years of relevant experience and who has experience in Application Management Services (AMS) and enhancement support for SAP S/4HANA Central Finance environments. The consultant will be responsible for incident resolution, service requests, root cause analysis, system optimization, change implementation, and business process enhancements across Finance and Controlling processes.

Key Responsibilities AMS Support

• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP Central Finance (CFIN) incidents and service requests.
• Perform issue prioritization and SLA-based resolution.
• Coordinate with business users and technical teams during critical incidents.
• Participate in on-call support during month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

Enhancements & Change Requests

• Gather business requirements for finance process improvements.

• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements.

• Evaluate impact of proposed changes across source and target systems.

• Design and implement:

• New financial reporting requirements

• Additional replication scenarios

• New company code onboarding

• Process automation opportunities

• Support testing and deployment of enhancement requests.

Functional Support

• Support business processes in:

• General Ledger (GL)

• Accounts Payable (AP)

• Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Asset Accounting (AA)

• Cost Center Accounting

• Profit Center Accounting

• Internal Orders

• COPA

• Perform reconciliation between source systems and Central Finance.

• Support financial closing and audit requirements.

Skills & Experience: Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 6+ years of experience with Information Technology.
