SAP Consultant 2nd Level

Tasks

• Support and ensure the stable operation of the SAP S/4HANA system landscape within 2nd Level Support
• Analyze, classify, and resolve complex incidents
• Conduct structured root cause analyses and ensure sustainable resolution of SAP issues
• Advise and support business departments on functional and technical SAP-related questions
• Analyze and optimize existing SAP S/4HANA processes
• Perform SAP customizing, regular job adjustments and monitoring, and minor system enhancements
• Analyze and resolve issues in interfaces and integration scenarios
• Support releases, upgrades, and migration projects
• Collaborate with SAP development teams, key users, and external service providers
• Perform testing and support quality assurance activities for system changes
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution descriptions, and knowledge base articles
• Monitor recurring incidents and identify opportunities for optimization and automation

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the following SAP S/4HANA modules
• Experience with the SAP modules SD, MM, Service, and FI/CO
• Functional focus: Sales and service orders, billing, pricing, and integration aspects with other SAP modules (SD, MM, Service, FI/CO) and interfaces
• Good understanding of business processes
• Experience working with ticketing systems
• ABAP knowledge for debugging and 3rd level error analysis is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, excellent analytical abilities, solution-oriented thinking, and good time management combined with enthusiasm for new technologies
• Independent and structured work style with the willingness to familiarize oneself with various business processes and data flows
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
