SAP Data Analytics Specialist

We're looking for an SAP Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Portugal in a remote working mode. In this role, you will design and implement data models, develop dashboards, and enable analytics capabilities using SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud. You will collaborate with stakeholders to integrate diverse data sources, ensure data quality, and leverage modern platforms like Databricks to support advanced reporting and analytical use cases. This position offers the opportunity to drive data-driven decision-making in large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models in SAP Datasphere using graphical and SQL-based views
• Build interactive dashboards and visualizations in SAP Analytics Cloud
• Collect and integrate data from diverse external sources using APIs and authentication methods (e.g., Bearer tokens, OIDC)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into robust solutions
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and optimize performance across reporting layers
• Utilize modern data platforms such as Databricks for engineering and advanced analytics
• Develop scripts and automation for data processing in Python, particularly within Databricks environments
• Use version control systems and collaborate on code repositories in GitHub

Requirements

• Proven experience in data modeling and enterprise reporting solutions
• Hands-on expertise with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Practical experience in API integration and authentication mechanisms (Bearer token, OIDC, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL and Git-based development workflows (e.g., GitHub)
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar modern data platforms for analytics use cases

• Python programming skills for automation and data processing
• Experience with SAP HANA modeling and optimization
