SAP Developer, SAP GTS

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) experience to join our SAP team in Sweden. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on ABAP development skills along with practical experience supporting and developing solutions within SAP GTS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues (debugging, root cause analysis, and incident resolution)
• Collaborate closely with Application Experts and Business Stakeholders to propose and design effective technical solutions
• Own end-to-end technical solution delivery, including development, implementation, and deployment support across landscapes
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and future-proof deliverables aligned with business needs
• Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing and defect resolution.
• Support production issues and participate in incident/problem management.
• Follow SAP development standards and clean-core principles where applicable.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience integrating SAP ERP systems (ECC & S/4HANA) with SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA
• Strong knowledge of master data replication (Material, Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Classification) between ERP and SAP GTS E4H
• Experience in SAP GTS functional areas:
• Compliance Management
• Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening
• Export/Import Legal Control
• Customs Management
• Intrastat Reporting
• Experience in customs declaration processes and integration with external customs systems and third-party applications using SAP standard integration technologies

Technical Skills

• Strong ABAP development expertise (including RAP – RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Clean Core development approach
• CDS Views and OData services
• SAP CPI / Integration Suite knowledge
• Enhancement and extensibility frameworks

Leadership and Soft Skills

• Hands-on, flexible mindset to support end-to-end SAP GTS processes including end-users and stakeholders
• Act as a strong technical counterpart to functional and business teams
• Proactive communicator with ownership mindset and accountability for delivery
